A PERUVIAN NAME FOR RELIABLE INFORMATION
The name honors the khipu kamayuq: specialists who read and managed information encoded in khipus across the Inca administration. It is a reminder that reliable systems begin with structure, context and trustworthy records.
THE PRINCIPLE The tools change, but the responsibility remains: make information easier to understand, protect and trust.
HOW I BUILD
A useful product is not only the screen people see. It is the behavior they can predict, the access they can control, and the knowledge the team can retain.
I have implemented controls that protect access without making everyday work harder.
I have turned dense business rules into explicit domains, contracts and transactional workflows.
I have designed interfaces around clarity, context and confidence at every step.
I have kept product knowledge in the project so teams can work without reconstructing context.
FEATURED CASE STUDY · CCI ERP
I am leading the end-to-end modernization of a system created more than 20 years ago—turning manual, fragmented processes into an ERP designed for traceability, faster reporting and safer daily work.
Teams relied on a very old system and considerable manual work. Reports were slow to produce and difficult to customize, while activity monitoring and product traceability required extra effort.
I structured the backend around explicit business domains, transactional boundaries, idempotent operations and durable evidence. The frontend keeps context close to each decision instead of hiding rules behind generic forms.
I implemented layered identity and access controls, revocable sessions, device-aware policies, auditable privilege changes and restricted diagnostics. Security is treated as an operational system, not a final checklist.

I document specifications, decisions, recovery behavior, implementation status and validation evidence so a team can navigate the product without repeatedly spending tokens to reconstruct its own history.
AI remains useful for exploration and automation. The durable output, however, should be precise, versioned and readable by a person. That is how documentation keeps paying back after the prompt is gone.
Martin Kleppmann's book matters because it trains engineers to reason about reliability, scalability, consistency and trade-offs—before a framework makes those decisions invisible.

Before software became my profession, selling chicken sandwiches helped me keep studying. “El chico de los panes” became a public story about persistence—and later, a foundation for how I approach difficult work.
